I was revisiting some old threads back when bananaman was on a role with his analysis and the mood was a bit more positive around here! Definately worth revisiting to remind you how much potential the Kilkivan region has! I hope @bananaman you don't mind me sharing an old post of yours
    https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-mt-cobalt-and-pembroke-exploration-update.4475631/page-2?direction=previous

Its hard to believe this is the 3rd string project of ANW! Not a bad number 3, especially when the number 2 project at Granville will be selling tin soon likely making approx $10 million profit a year paying for any further exploration/resource development across the 3 projects, although Taronga is 3 projects in its own right with the world class resource at Taronga itself complemented by Torrington Exploration Project and The Pound Flat Tin deposit which both were projects aquired in thier own right by previous companies.

IMO Number 3 project Mt Cobalt/Pembroke/ Mt Coora/Clara/Silver Valley/Jackson North and Ridley is going to out do them all, even when considering Taronga/Torrington/Pound flats multi billion dollar potential.....the kilkivan/black snake plateau nickel sulfide, cobalt, copper, gold, silver province has potential to double it!

    MT Cobalt,
    To the north, drilling conducted in 2016 confirmed high grade cobalt, the most significant result being 19m @ 0.45%Co & 0.90%Ni from 18m, including 7m @ 0.84%Co & 0.83%Ni from 29m (1.02% Co eq.).

    The average grade for the 28.15m hole (COB029) was 0.29%Co, 2.36%Mn &0.73%Ni (28m @ 0.45% Co eq.) and included two high grade intervals o1f 6.65m @ 0.45%Co& 0.89%Ni from 3.8m and 2.7m @ 0.74%Co & 0.89%Ni from 24.4m

The cobalt results for COB029, coupled with the results for COB021 drilled in 2016 (7m @ 0.84%Co, 0.83%Ni from 29m) compare favourably with other Australian cobalt projects1 in terms of grade and depth of mineralisation.

a drill sludge sample collected for entire hole COB028 returned a silver assay of 247g/t

    − COB030 averaged 0.32%Co, 0.62%Ni over 25m of assayed intervals, including 1.5m @ 1.48%Co, 1.3%Ni from 26.5m (last interval recovered and open at depth); That's 1.76% Co eq. @ 54,500k USD.

In drill programs to date, the Mt Cobalt mineralisation has yielded intersections of up to 115m assaying over 0.5% nickel (plus cobalt credits). The mineralisation forms part of a 5km long and up to 2km wide zone of nickel, cobalt, copper and silver mineralisation with significant gold credits.

ALL THE WAY TO PEMBROKE MASSIVE OPEN PIT POTENTIAL NICKEL, COBALT, GOLD, COPPER DEPOSIT.

Results support extensions to thelarge low grade nickel sulphide mineralised system at Pembroke witha maximum 181m intersection at 0.25% Ni. (PEMD1) This hole (PEMD1)also returned 21m @ 1.04% Cu, 2.09g/t Au and 145 ppm Co which isequivalent to an average nickel grade across the overall hole (181m) of 0.36% Ni
