I am in another pure play Cobalt as a LTH but V seriously looking at TAR. The grades are really great and the new drilling program is V interesting. Just a note on pricing: the income TAR would get from a small mining mining would certainly be useful I do no think it would be close to the US$ 90 000/ton. This price is for Cobalt Sulphate ( which actually can even get a 5 to 10% premium to that already high price) and of course you need a refinery for that. If you extract the cobalt from the ground and just produce concentrate you'll get around 30% of this US$90K. Still very appreciable and would definitely help to finance any further exploration. Would KCC agree to process TAR Cobalt and share the profits, that is up to both mgmt to negotiate; It would be ideal but it is feasible and would KCC be interested with small quantities? As for KCC next door they are embroiled in a nasty pair of lawsuits with Gecamines and their former Israeli partner and i am not sure of the outcome; the stakes are very high. The end result of this battle will influence me in buying or not into TAR unless you can convince me there is limited risk of a same fate with TAR> Your comment are welcome.
