Monty was a DHEM discovery I'm sure.
Nova was a conductor that was pierced. How it was 'found' I don't know, but easy to check.
DeGrussa showed mineralisation at and near the surface before SFR got lucky with an RC drill programme.
Horseshoe Lights was initially found by bush miners via a gossan in 1946 then a series of mining companies over some years went deeper and the primary was found.
I think that EMs and conductors following all of the necessary prep work is the best way to find vhms primary, especially when it's not near the surface. How else can it be done, at least economically? Fire expensive drills until you finally hit it? That of course is wasting money, so 'no'.
RNI/AUR has had the advantage of having 25 years of historical data acquired from BlueCrest and also surface expressions of gold with copper not far down. The primary mineralisation is down there, and now that we have progressed with most of the preliminary work having been and assessed, EM is now the guide.
