'Blythefan works for AUR'

I wouldn't think so!!

It's taken me until now to have the time to have a close look at the Ann.

There are some interesting things in it; and to summarise:

Wodger drilling

1. No zones of massive sulphides were intersected in DD3 (page 1).

2. The copper mineralisation is interpreted to be epigenetic (p1). As per this link http://askageologist.blogspot.com.au/2016/01/epigenetic-or-syngenetic-deposits-which.html an epigenetic deposit is: This is a mineral deposit that formed following the development or emplacement of the enclosing or host rocks. These kinds of deposits might be found on top of the host rocks, or more commonly IN the host rocks.

3. After commenting that the mineralisation (so far) has some affinities with a typical vms deposit, it states that a possible interpretation of the mineralisation found so far is that it represents remobilisation from a nearby massive copper sulphide deposit (p1).

4. The DHEM generated good quality data and has resulted in the modelling of a 100m x 75m off-hole conductor at a downward depth of about 520ms AND in a position consistent with the dip of the mineralisation intersected to date (p3). See Figure 2 (p2).

That all sounds pretty plausible I suppose. I can see the logic in the interpretations.

The main thing for me is that the excellent secondary mineralisation found so far must have a primary home. The big question is: 'Is the conductor that home?' Hey, we'd all like to think so, eh! Maybe just one of the primary homes if it's a lens or a series of lenses?

There is more than just Wodger in the ann though. I will post on that in a following post.
