re: Ann: DOW: Downer secures $120 million Kar... recently someone here wrote that they
were surprised that gbg/s share price hadnt increased as mmx/s share had done recently

the difference is I think in mmx/s case their biggest share-holder posco (korean has been actively buying a bigger stake
in the company )their holding is now about 13%

ansteel are already set and dont need to actively step into the market as they already hold 50%of karara

If the senario were different and ansteel only had say 30%
and they now wanted to step into the market and increase its stake in gbg the loose shares swilling around would be taken out and the share price would be up signifficantly to reflect the quality of our karara project.
I dont believe the small shareholders are looked after
as we can see by the frustrating share price that is the same price as when this whole project was just an idea .
shareholders who supported this project from idea to reality over several years deserve to be rewarded

( but this isnt the case!!! )
