The goal of any takeover is to maximise the cash value for shareholders. When assessing a firm to invest in - whether it be Magnum, DLS, or the thousands of other shares available - I take a holistic approach. But that decision comes AFTER I maximize the immediate cash value of my AQO shares. Even if I end up taking up the DLS's offer, I will probably sell straight away and spread the cash across several more prospective stocks.
