Agreed. With DLS knowledge of this area of the basin it would make sense for DLS to take the lead.
DLS management are no doubt aware of NSE's issues and I suspect the plan would probably be to assume operatorship and a larger portion of the JV in exchange for funding some of NSE's commitments.
MHR effectively tried to do the same thing through its holding in NSE but have been out maneuvered (so far, could be a twist to come).
