I had a look at some other etf's seems about correct taken over the whole financial year but asx200 vs asx300. Only one that was different was the black rock one but they also use derivatives and sometimes have big then small payments.
I looked at the underlying fund vas includes receivables in Nav so that would include unpaid divs.
I believe it may be a matter of getting things right over the full financial year is the most important obviously for tax purposes.
Vas don't use derivatives but some futures, I just think vas was able to distribute excess cash last quarter and we catching up now. I still feel VAS is the best pick of the bunch as long as you don't get screwed by the market maker lol. Let's see if the estimate changes again
