Anyone got any real answers? I called Vanguard and got a lady on the phone who had no idea why the distribution was cut so drastically. I insisted that she put on someone who knew why and asked them to explain it to me. I ended up getting some gobbledy goop about "managing the large number of withdraws from the underlying fund". He insisted that as compensation, they paid a higher than normal distribution the quarter before the latest one to make up for it. He also said that they paid "basically the same" distribution to the end of June 2016 as they did to the end of June 2015.
