"Final dividend increased by 11% to 5¢ per share fully-franked from 4.5¢ previously, taking full-year payout to 9.5¢ per share " - eleven percent is not to be ignored!
IMO, they will keep cash. Gold prices are in a down cycle considering the increasing interest rate in US and US$ on its way up. This means more opportunities for acquisitions. It's better to have more cash.
