As mentioned earlier by @secondsight and @Semi retired, highlights from the announcements from two Brisbane-based companies (Anteo & Ellume, a private company who will go for IPO within next 12 months):
On 28/10/16: ADO signed 5-yr agreement with Ellume, who will integrate ADO’stechnology into their proprietary quantum dot diagnostic platform in thePoint-of-Care market. Ellume hasdeveloped a pioneering quantum dot detection system combining nano-technologyand unique opto-electronics resulting in a next generation immunoassayplatform. The platform has been used to creat productsdistinguished by their technical performance, simplicity of design, ease ofuse, rapid time to result and connectivity. ADO’s technology forms an importantlayer in Ellume’s proprietary quantum-dot based technology.
on 11/12/18: Ellume has signed a significant dealwith pharmaceutical giant GSK for digital consumer products (focus on respiratorycare), ahead of a potential market listing. Another deal will be signed with another company within next month ina different healthcare space. Ellume’s pipeline products: influenza,Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Group A Streptococcus, Chlamydia.
