If management had any intention on elaborating on the latest board resignation they would have included additional detail in the announcement.

There is nothing unusual about a director resignation, they happen all the time. What is a little more unusual is a director liquidating all of their shares and immediately tendering their resignation, particularly a director as accomplished as Dr Bez. From my observations over the years, directors parting on good terms often wait until they have resigned before they start selling their shareholding.
