gosh think this statement is a bit harsh. often if ive seen people not peforming the recommendation has been to fire them.

i think the issue is more the fact that execs set their own short term objectives for their own interests and to get their bonuses. they arent interested in long term interests of the company or shareholders. does that mean theyre souless when they are using the same rules used by everyone else ? is it wrong for someone to be entirely focused on the wellbeing of their family and that comes first ?

i think there are directors that take the piss such as sir phillip green not honouring the pensioners of a company he ran and whose assets he sold off.

we are at the speculation end of the market. we can i think only hold the board accountable to hitting its targets for exploration.

if they fail to deliver, then move on but doesnt make them souless, just not very good at running a company.
