The announcement talks about "dissipation capabilities", that is the multiple pixels working in tandem producing their own polar response, and each pixel interacting with the adjacent pixels causing superpositioning effects resulting in peaks and dips in the overall polar response of each device, then devices side by side would have a similar effect.

Damn I wish I wasn't right so we can all be rich right about now.
