Anyone who thinks this is a positive announcement is suffering from confirmation bias.

Below is an announcement from 25 August 2017 - more than a year ago where they say the 'dissipation layers' are stuffed.  And they are still stuffed a year later.

At the AGM the story was it was all fixed but for  the pixel yield to be sorted out in the last stage of manufacture.  They may now have enough working pixels to be able to test it properly and find the 'dissipation layers' issue is not fixed at all.
