I have emailed Ian, Fred, and Danny on several occasions, and I have not only had very helpful and appreciative replies but also had calls - including calls from Israel.

Every time, that is, apart from the one I sent in early July, to which I am still awaiting a response.

My subject then was to enquire as how to correctly interpret the cryptic announcement from Fred.  Basically I asked whether we should interpret the announcement as meaning "we are definitely closer - we're almost there!" or "we are definitely not as close as we recently thought".  The announcement was a cup half full/half empty statement.  A bit like Schrodinger's cat in fact.

While I appreciate that they are extremely busy (I hope!) and can only tell me what they have told the rest of the market, I tried to get the point across that the announcement could be too easily read either way, and for that reason was not an adequate announcement.  I still think the same.  Clearly more shareholders think it meant "back-step" than "almost there" judging by the share price.

So I am hoping - and expecting - some significant update to the situation to be communicated in the end of Aug announcement.  As it is, I feel that maintaining the ambiguity is tacitly manipulating our uncertainty. But that is only my personal view.  If others feel the same then I agree that that should be made clear to all of the management team, and a good way of letting them know is to tell them so.  That's what their job is. We need no further excuse to contact them about our investment.  It can do little harm and could do some good.

But there is no point asking for additional information now, especially anything that would be price sensitive.  I would just like to ask that the next announcement, due in a few days time, provides a clearer statement of what the current status is in terms of previously announced expectations and timescales.  Are we as close or closer than earlier announcements indicated?  Have further delays arisen based on TJ's inability to produce a working device to spec?  Or is the basic design incapable of being implemented with any current fab's capabilities? I think the market has a right to know which it is: it is then up to the market how it should respond.
