If I were in their shoes I would define bad news as the completion of testing, ie. after say 50 units are complete. Even if they have done 40/50 units, and they’re all bad, AP would rationalise not announcing the market until all tests are completed. This gives AP more time to figure out a way to spin this, ie. we did exhaustive testing, the good news is we’ve identified the issue and the fabs are already working on a new wafer. More stalling tactics that will no doubt have a rise in the SP to $19-20 again for a short period.
