I disagree with your last comment jwb. The point of sending emails to AKP via Ian Dennis (or phoning him) is not to try and extract information. The intention is to impress upon those running the company that shareholders are less than happy with the current sparse diet of information, in the hope that the company will provide more meaningful announcements. At this stage, we really have no idea whether the development has stalled on a really difficult problem or if some final tuning and polishing is bringing the project close to a successful conclusion. In the meantime, we have funds at risk and deserve to be told more.
