I predict the next announcement would be the receipt of the wafers (1 month), and then a 2-3 month wait until a balanced assessment is carried out which includes a 6 week durability test to ensure new manufacturing techniques haven't detrimentally affected the performance, and 6 weeks for detailed assessment and sampling.

I think 3 months wouldn't be that long to wait at this point imo, especially if it results in a usable chip that can at least be targetted to the low end of the industry until they iron out the bugs and improve performance for mid-high end.

AP have raised enough cash for the time being to not be worried too much about SH sentiment in the short term (6-12 months). Their next financial statement will be key to understanding in which direction AP is headed, that is - if a chip will be ready there should be a visibe shift of effort from R&D (which would continue) and manufacturing, marketting, etc.

Time is faster on the other side, so what seems like weeks/months to us, would seem like days and weeks for AP. I'm sure most of you know this feeling.
