Having recently been through a takeover with avb being acquired by ozl , I can confirm that retail blocks dont work too well, as retail holders panic when takeover offers start to acquire controlling stakes in the company and god help you if large institutional investors take the deal.On avb we had several retail holders in the top 20 and even they surcum to the pressure.
I had a small holding and could see that ozl was slowly winning so took an opportunity to sell on market.
So Esh good luck with that but it is not as easy as it looks.
