I think that we can fairly say that drilling started just over 3 weeks ago.
The Forrest DDH had an expected depth of about 600ms and with the recently-found (by re-examining an April EM) conductor somewhere along the way. Now that should have been fully drilled by now, but there has been no company announcement since it started, so we should be able to assume that the conductor was not significant mineralisation, or even mineralisation at all.
Research that I had done (see an earlier post) suggested that Forrest preceded Wodger (it was a BIG surprise!) because money had to be spent on the Forrest tenement pronto because of a WAMD requirement - 'Use it or lose it!'
Let's hope that the hole produced something worthwhile though!
Wodger looked the better target. That's where the good mineralisation kept showing up eg 50ms cu @ 1.55% in RC005. The conductor below at about 520ms depth just had to be drilled. Getting there this week? Already there? That will be the cruncher!
Here's a refresher!
