1gpt in a 100 tonne ore truck makes a payload of 100grams which is approx 3 ozs of gold, worth about $5000. Any mining engineer would prefer to move 1gpt to expose an orebody than move non paying waste. If gold increases in value, as many expect, 1gpt depending on the orebody and trucking distances etc, can be a very attractive proposition.
