Would be great to see Tanzania relax the laws a little. Or put some exemptions in place etc .

Ultimately it only affects the big producers currently so it's up to them to make a stand and sort something out that is reasonable. I can understand both points of view though.

Surely they have lost millions of dollars in exploration investment and associated spending already. Surely that has to hurt in time given the big players may shut down their mines if no longer economical.
