Multiple parties? There could be more than 2 I suppose, but what allows you say 'multiple' BBV?

Interest in RNI itself? That suggests to me that it's to do with the ownership of the company. If I read you correctly, then I don't see it totally that way. The ann said: 'the company and its assets' which followed 'competing transaction proposals' and I interpret all of those words to mean both the company itself on the one hand and the company's assets on the other - meaning that assets are the subject of one proposal.

Anyway, we'll all learn in due course, but the warning has been made x 2 that nothing might eventuate at all and we now know from Monday's ann that it's progressed from 'considering the merits' to 'progressing negotiations'. The wording is strongly suggestive of RNI not being coerced or under threat of being compelled to do anything.

While Wodger is being drilled with this DD and assays awaited, I can't see any corporate ownership change being seriously discussed. However, I can see an asset sale happening during that time - except any part of Forrest of course.
