DHR up 26.3%, DGR down 4.44% on the day.
Of the $7.3m of market cap added to DHR, approx $1.56m is directly attributable to DGR (20%).
Shouldn't this increase in daughter company be reflected in the mother, ceteris paribus? By my calcs +3% on the DHR move alone, so we're almost -7.5% swing away from what basic logic is telling me.
I think I'll permanently be confused about this company.....I initially wanted in to catch these spikes on the daughter companies.
