My point is that ASX is like a big shopping list. Why start with a profitable company on your "shorting shopping list"? There must be hundreds out there that are floating in the stratosphere with nothing to hold them up. If you had reliable information to suggest NST's profits are going to fall then maybe. But so far the $A gold price is holding strong and that's one of the primary numbers that feeds into the profit result. Of course you could also be smarter than the entire market and take the view that the company is overvalued, but good luck waiting for the entire market in the stock to move to meet your value opinion. Esh
