The appointment of retired police Inspector-General Doctor Tampubolon looks a sound choice and should give us the impetus needed to remove the illegals.

I've looked him up on google and in the Indonesian media and see that earlier this month he passed administration tests for admission to the Corruption Eradication Commission, which is a bit of a big deal. Of some 600 plus applicants less than a third made it through. To me this shows he's held in high esteem at the political level in Jakarta and his voice should count a lot at the regency or Kabupaten level in far off West Irian province. President Jokowi looks serious about cracking down on corruption and our man looks to be a part of this team. He shouldn't tolerate the illegals from here or be bought off in gold dust by them.

I did find a funny story about him however from a decade ago where he was sued by a teacher at his child's school for getting abusive during a parent teacher function. Good luck to all holders from here, it's been four long years. What an anniversary gift this may prove to be.
