Googling around it is amazing how much can be found about faltering water infrastructure around the world - presumably because we spent much of the latter part of the 20th century building all the civilised pipework and treatment facilities, and then governments have pretty much run a "patch and repair agenda" for the last 30 years or so.
The White House announced a few weeks back they were committing $US 600 billion over 20 years to upgrade their infrastructure, and, like the Chinese, are encouraging technical innovation to assist them.
The company links with the US are therefore very important IMO, and momentum is building. There is also a number of high profile water conferences happening this year - which all provide potential to promote Protean - particularly in synergy with other technologies.

Interesting thing for me is the underlying direction for our area of renewable tech.
More and more buoy-type alternates being considered with an array-based deployment focus - and they are getting smaller and (presumably) more cost efficient.
