Thanks for the in depth insights into the engineering of the mines there Esh.

Sounds like they may need to find a new operation - shallower and with higher grades. There's some options there of course (SLR, Doray & others) - but how much will they cost to acquire is the question. 

A cheaper but riskier option could be Red5 - and drill the hell out of the place although Darlot as I'm sure you're aware has also been mined and drilled for a number of years.

Perhaps a foray into African base metals. There's enough Aussie explorers there with reasonable deposits. Unfortunately base metal demand fluctuates as we know - so perhaps a JV with a Chinese or Indian company to take ownership once developedor with a long-term offtake agreement is a possibility.
