Bignote you are quite correct, hedging at around $50 for the prescribed barrels does expire in Dec 16.

Hopefully though OPEC will have had enough of their current irrational sales regime and we will see sanity prevail by end of the year.

I was just trying to get a rough idea on what sort of return will be possible in the following year, I was hoping
some others could run some numbers too. All theories are welcome here.

The GGE shell will be worth what market see's as reasonable, $3mill cash and what they can do with it.

I noticed GGE went into pre open today around 1.30pm but was out of it 5 mins later with no announcement, must have been an error on etrades behalf. It would not surprise me to see GGE come out with multiple announcements regarding Demerger and New direction at the same time.
