Rather than debating the unknown too much, it might be best to contact the company and see if they can outline the reasons behind their recent capital structure changes. That way holders will know the definitive answer/rationale.
As the house broker, DJs would have better access to management than us so they would probably already have discussed this with CM8 and might be able to provide more colour also.
