By fee i mean the discounted interest by paying bac the loan early.. so essentially incurred 0.5m for something they never needed in the first place.

Yes the only reason for the extension would be so they have the option to time the CR or set the price of the CR without pressure. But still. 0.5m isnt a small fee for a company of this size.

By moot point,i mean it didnt really matter which debt they paid off, as long as they paid off one of the debt.
