No, what I’m stating is that some people will let the underwriter pick up their options for FREE, because they either:
(1) don’t have the funds to excise their options, or
(2) they don’t feel it’s worth the effort to exercise, or
(3) they forgot they hold options, or
(4) they’re simply lazy
For those who fit any of the above, they have until COB Monday to decide if they wish to salvage some money from the options by selling them.
