His ultra ego saw him place himself in as Executive Chairman for 6 months remember, he liked the salary so much, he stayed on and drove the company into the deck. Nose in the trough, now he has a lot of experience with that and is very successful, so what are his options, let the company go down the gurgler, I don't think so. Create some new miracle products, hardly you need creativity to do that, he has zero. delist and invite a like company in to a back door listing, maybe. Sell part of the company and cash up so he can keep his nose firmly in the trough for a few more years, that's my bet but who really knows. Not much to sell but DDT comes with a $20mm accumulated loss so for a like company, may be a good deal. There are many rumours floating around about the options for Rathie, I say Rathie because he has no regards for the shareholders at all. It is all about he and his ego and what’s best for him.
He won't be able to wear this one off in a hurry. It will have to go on his CV, no place to hide at the end of the day.
