re: Ann: David Jones Board Recommends A$4.00 ... Over the past 150 years there have been many businerss models in the retail area, but DJS is the oldest dept store continuously trading.
As i was passing thye Sydney store I noticed it was founded in 1838. i then went home and there were a few questions on DJS on YMYC.
Each expert rubbished DJS, past its use-by date they said.
I mused 'how often has thatb been said in the past 176 years./"
the next day I launched into DJS at $2.28. (50,000 shares)
I saw Mr Heffernan say MYR was a much better buy...buit both disasters) I have had good divs fully franked in my SMSF since and have been waiting for today.
I am not selling ....yet.
