Unfortunately Longtable continues its downwards march today.  I was a big supporter of Laura McBain when she came on.  I had hoped with her background and knowledge in the baby formula industry that this would crossover to Longtable and that we would see her launch a formula product sooner rather than later.  Although she does allude to it in her MD's letter in the annual report, without a clear direction being presented to investors as to how this might unfold, I fear this will continue to lose ground.  If they try to do another capital raising at this level for another new investment, I think it will sound the death knock for the share price.  They have already burnt Insto's, sophisticated investors and mum and dad investors with the last raisings at .75 and .70 cents, the last one being only a couple of months ago.  I don't imagine that many people would be keen to jump on another raising, UNLESS it is specifically related to baby formula and the processing or manufacturing of same.  If you read the annual reports from those in the milk formula field, you can see there are huge profits to be made in that sector.  Although she appears to have the team assembled and the raw ingredients at her fingers tips to launch this product, without a firm indication that this is going to proceed in the near term, I can't see any real gains for shareholders as she still dabbles in products which are never going to have the profits or huge growth that the baby formula market enjoys.  With her knowledge and contacts in the industry I can't understand why she isn't pursuing this vigorously and if she is doing work behind the scenes, this needs to be conveyed to shareholders at the upcoming AGM.  In my opinion this AGM will be critical for her to win back support.
