I never had hopes and dreams for AOE. I simply bought late last year as a punt as it looked oversold and got I caught in the takeover bid- pure luck. I'm just waiting for the new tax year to exit, either on market or under the offer. Emotion is always dangerous in investing IMHO.
Agree the move from 1:1 to 1:2 is a little odd with no explanation, but hey makes no difference to value of my shares, so I really do not care.
