Oilleak, sorry to disagree with such a prolific poster. I think what you say is only partly true........ Until something in ALF changes the ONLY side is down.... and we have been screwed for a number of years.

Why do you think anythin g will change as long as the current management remains and they persist with their poor management over a number of years with the shorts seemingly matching the longs and the poor stock selection to match ? For 3 years now we have hoped and persevered without success.... thats management AND investors ! In theory of course, you are correct, ut as I have stated previously, I just dont think the management of ALF is that clever ! Certainly, the proof of the pudding is in the eating if you need the results for the past 3 years. OK, have the shorts for protection.... but the longs SHOULD outperform. In The case of ALF, nothing has performed, sorry, I’m wrong.....they have excelled in Buying back their own stock and nothing else !!!
