rubs, a bias just means you are inclined to look favorably on something, it doesn't imply you are not telling the truth ! It means you are "leaning" towards a particular point of view. Nobodies portfolio would be exactly the same in terms of construction, content, quantity or amount. Yup I have ALF too... the difference is that you want to have it; and I dont ! But at the current price, I'm prepared to as you say, take a longer term approach to see what can happen to improve the both the performance and price of the fund itself in order to make as they say "an orderly departure".
