The original agreement with FUJI Film was on 19th Jan 2017. As stated in the announcement today.

But the history on my trading site(eTrade) only goes back 2 years. Does anybody have a copy of the agreement with FUJI ?

It does look like FUJI waited for the last minute and wanted to soften the terms of this agreement and CYP said NO. Then FUJI asked for an extension, which was granted.

Don't know if that is brinkmanship or clever tactics from FUJI. Did they always wanted the extension without losing the exclusivity option and they got it. Or was the deal too much for them and they are desperate to make it happen but can't do it now. I doubt it.

As to what happened in the negotiations. We will never know and we should never know and never will we ever know ! As it should be and is.

Only the outcome matters.

I don't know if we can predict what will happen on 19 Sept. If FF push again, firstly there wont be an extension without a payment, I would think Ross !

And secondly its possible that some of the terms ARE renegotiated. But what exactly were the terms agreed.

Generally I remember a 6M payment upfront and FF will pay for the 2nd Trial. Don't remember the royalties(was it unclear in the first place ie. 'double figures'...) and maybe something about rights to the global market for GvHD. Potentially upto 60M in upfront fees plus the royalties if all goes well and to its potential.

But like to see the original agreement again. Does anybody have it ?
