“...I am always looking to grab a few more to take advantage of any weakness during the course of day. These are for my "trading account", none of which I have been able to bring myself to sell. I know that if I sell I will be leaving too much profit on the table for the next person.

Me too! I set up a proper official trading account a couple of days ago Parma
It has no NWH yet. I am waiting in case we go under $1.50 on one of those daredevil bot runs)
But it does have $2 grand worth of Shine with which I intend to start my trading fortune. I am already $50 in front . ( I chose them after I read a series of charts there that exactly predicted where the price had ended up )...
( and I guess I should adopt Jacko’s strategy of setting a realistic trading profit target for them...36% was my previous idea but I might ‘hear the synchronicity’ and meet you in the middle Jacko and go with 16%) .

“Speaking of special creatures, what were your thoughts on our Treasurer after your meeting the other day? Should we be concerned or optimistic with him at the helm?

I think I could have had my photo taken with Mr Treasurer if I had wished, and there was this thing called slido.com that I could log on to and look up #SCOMO if I wanted to post questions ..but the truth is I just didn’t get it..
He started to introduce his speech and ten minutes later he was still introducing it ...easily, fluently even endearingly and he actually had not said one meaningful thing.
    Apparently this is called politicking?
First I got twitchy and confused and then it all went a bit soporific . He moved on to new level of talk about how Labour was pretty hopeless, and then finally started to say everyone knew that the GST drain out of W.A. had been unfair and they were the right people to fix the problem and they had been studying it and the whole system needed to be revised but first they would be patching it and wasn’t it lucky for us they were addressing the problem. ...internal hours passed.
Then he went and sat down for a question time which basically revealed the problem was easy to fix and wouldn’t need to go to legislation unless Labor did the wrong thing.

I’m still a bit confused probably because I don’t understand business or politics .
As to whether we should be concerned or optimistic with him at the helm..... Parma I can’t say . Based on that one experience he was very agreeable and gave every indication that the hand at the helm knew exactly what it was doing.

Many of the BEOT ( apparently means Big End of Town) were there and I was grateful I chose not to wear my ug boots.
Afterwards I honestly thought the GST changes were a done deal until Jacko queried it and then I called my accountant and she said yes it would be good if it went through.
No wonder I was grumpy and confused afterwards .
I think I was roped in at the last moment because other people who might have got more out of it had cancelled.

And thanks for the info you posted on the shareholders of NWH. A very interesting read. I am not too sure what best benefits shareholders such as us.....lots of institutions with large holdings, or squillions of shareholders with smallish holdings.”

It turns out another company I hold shares in is in the same position as SXL ...I am sure I read once it is bad to buy into companies that are largely institutionalised .. But I can’t remember why or find the link.. Meanwhile both SXL - only bought fir the dividend! ..and this other one ( they worked at Dalgaranga for Gascoyne)are well up

PS, glad I am able to put a smile on your face................and hopefully NWH can broaden it even further.

    Yes !! It will
    Thanks Parma
