The Vicinity centre entry is a Trial installation, Its not permanant installation, its a demonstration of the Clearvue technology.
Its not a demonstration of the most expensive designer window frames.
It seems like that Shopping centre is planning some Major Upgrades including solar Instrallaions.
So its quite possible in a few weeks or months time, that entire entry is rebuilt to be part of the main roof structure with glass panels in the roof for light.
It seems silly to have lights on inside a building and then solar panels on a roof to run the lights.
It would be alot smarter to have some skylights in the roof letting in light through an insulated baffle sheet.
Then less lights would need to be running, but thats just an explanation of whats possible in the future.
With 73 Million being planned to be spent in 2019 on solar upgrades, they must be planning some serious upgrades to produce solar in an asthetically pleasing way.
In the video he also says some solar window display will be done at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne as well.
So that would be a permanant installation so Id say some better window frames with be used than the Warwick Trial installation..
