Goarmy, they are not in bankruptcy, they are seeking protection from bankruptcy (and for 6 months, requirement to pay interest) They are doing this because they think assets worth more than debt owed and don't want to lose them. GM did the same/similar thing in the US. It remains to be seen what they are worth. Good news about the CFO - less costs for shareholders to pay.
