re: Ann: Court approval of settlement of clas... And,according to The Age today,the solicitors are going to hang onto the funds until the end of the calendar year:

'Lawyer Toby Borgeest of Slater & Gordon, which represented about 5000 individual shareholders, said cheques were expected to be sent by the end of the year.'

Must be great for the lawyers to hang onto someone else’s money by garnering the interest into their bank accounts.Surely they have had sufficient time(3 years) to verify all the claims. Pure greed. But I did expect better from Slater and Gordon.

Maybe he meant the end of the Financial Year!
