Queensland copper producer Cudeco has awarded Oz Mining the Phase 2 mining contract at its Rocklands project near Cloncurry.
Oz Mining is familiar with Rocklands and has begun mobilising equipment and personnel to site. Roc Drill will also continue its drill and blast sub-contract activities under this arrangement.
Earlier this year Cudeco awarded the Phase 1 contract to Andy’s Earthmovers, which later merged with Orionstone and Emeco.
Cudeco said it is confident that the contract will allow mining operations to continue without disruption.
