    The short answer to your question is no it doesn not mean that.

    I have a very close relative that had enormous financial difficulty and couldn't meet the repayments for a while and the CBA was very tough but firm with her understandably.

    The discussions all the way through were very productive and the CBA bank would only ever agree to do something that WAS achievable in that time frame.

    The CBA wants a company or individual to be able to make the repayments and they actually do want to help.

    Trust me on this.

    If for some unknown reason CCU cannot make the repayments in January then the CBA will definitely do something to help further.

    The CBA wont tell you this but they always have a plan to help out further if absolutely necessary but they wont tell you at the time because they want to put pressure on you to do the best that you can in making the payments.

    They are very smart cookies.
