Same gov just gave the green light for fracking no? If you're looking for political pressure points I would have thought the rock lobsters are more topical atm and something directly impacted by the 3D survey. From what I can glean from the various submissions, environmental impact is virtually negligible providing timing is right, except for the lobsters. Long-term oil issues aren't being evaluated, at least at face value.
