I have just about emptied my archives, so don't expect much else except maybe some google-found new stuff. I stumbled across the info that inspired my last post while researching on the web about bornite and alteration etc. It was good general info re copper so I thought that all should see it as it's not all readily available in one article like that.
I keep on learning. I started researching the Bryah basin in detail about 5 years ago. Why? Because I had, for me anyway, a big investment in it via RNI/AUR and to a much less extent investments in HOR and ALY. I needed to know as much as I could about it, and the more I researched the more I liked what I was seeing so far as it being a host to more vms cu/au deposits, especially in the wild western area where copper had never been explored - that is apart from Horseshoe Lights which was originally a gold mine that ended up having vms copper beneath it.
Before I started my research I virtually knew nothing about geology. Now I probably know a bit, enough I think to converse with geologists whenever I get the chance to; and that's normally at conferences.
This map from the April 2014 Preso really pushed that message home. I am sure that Peter Langworthy prepared it. It's the green snakey bits that attract!
