Wow. Strong numbers. Would like the IRR to be a tad higher but to get this result for a long life gold mine at the current state of the gold market should not be understated. It is a testament to the quality of this asset.
Rare gold projects like Awak Mas are highly prized and at that capex and rate of return should not have any difficulty securing finance.
The NPV is already strong but can be increased by approx 60% via relatively straightforward processes that are already underway.
I also love the excellent leverage NUS gives us to the gold price. A 10% increase in the gold price adds $65m to the NPV!
NUS is one of the most undervalued gold companies on ASX and there’s lots to look forward to in the coming months.
