It's not just about the money. Working in a third world country requires local influence and if Pak is really who they claimed him to be, it'd be hard to find a replacement. And even if they could, it'd have to be someone similar to Pak, and who can guarantee that Pak 2.0 wouldn't be causing a similar sheet storm?
